BRH at 18x? Z5

Hi,
I have used the Z3 @10x with the BRH reticle, I was interested in the Z5, but was curious if this type of reticle was difficult at 18x any insight would be appreciated. I am not looking to dial and typically are below 450 on shots, but with practice might look to get closer to 550. Thank you

To me the concepts of needing to be on 18x to use the reticle and only shooting at game inside 450 yards are at odds with each other.

No debating that at the range its nice to have the extra magnification. It’s hard not to appreciate the mag when punching paper and ringing steel. I wouldn’t want to have to be on 18x on animals though.
