Browning X Bolt - Bolt Assembly Question

I disassembled by bolt to clean it out and check to make sure sized brass loaded without much pressure. Now putting it back together I notice that if I spin the fire pin assembly/shroud all the way onto the bolt, it’s difficult to slide the bolt into the gun and the bolt handle won’t close down.

If I spin the fire pin assembly quarter clock wise (loosen) 1 turn, the bolt will easily slide into the gun and bolt handle closes easily. Like normal. I put the bolt in the gun, no ammo in the gun, and did some impact/bump/drop tests and the fire pin functioned as it should, no bump fire.

Has any other x bolt owners dissembled their bolt and noticed this?

There’s a small gap between the bolt body and fire pin shroud cap

Both of my X Bolts, Speed and Max Long Range have a space. Maybe not as big as yours but hard to tell. I have not taken mine apart. The Speed gap is a bit smaller than the Max gap.
