I’m being drawn to these for some reason. I would like a second 7RM and with the 8 twist from Browning I’m having a hard time saying no. Then the pics of the new one in black with the adj comb is really drawing me in.

Anyone here have regrets from buying an XBolt over another brand?

I have the X-Bolt Hells Canyon McMillan in 6.5Creed. I have NO regrets at all! I would never bash another rifle (everyone is entitled to their opinions) BUT in my opinion, You cant go wrong with the XBOLT!

I bought ax X-Bolt Pro in 6.5 CM last season and I love it. Shoots .5 MOA legitimately with 143gr ELD-X and is a joy to shoot.

I like mine so much that I’m buying another one this year in .300 Win Mag or 7mm Rem Mag. I went with the Pro because I hate the DuraTouch that got sticky on two other Browning firearms I owned. Not sure why they are still offering it after they had a lawsuit over it, but sadly, they do.

Here’s my 6.5:

Good to hear. Time to start scheming... maybe I need a 6cm AND a 7RM?! I do have a gap between 22 and 264 that needs to be filled.;)

Bunch of enablers you guys are.

Been hankering for a good 6 creedmoor mid weight. Not a fan of ruger American stocks.

Any reviews on the rotary mag?

I have 2, they are my favorite hunting rifles. The mag box will feed up to 3.6". I haven't heard of any recent problems with the Duratouch stocks, seems they got it figured out.

Any reviews on the rotary mag?

Never had an issue. 300 WSM feeds nice and slick.

I think they did a good job on the shape of the stocks and really like the recoil pad. The composite stocks are pretty flimsy though, lots of flex in the fore end. You can see the barrel lift out of it easily when you put load on a bipod but they still shoot well. I haven't had issues with duratouch besides a little scratched off now and then on an xbolt and sx3 12 gauge that have both been treated like garbage.

Was looking at the 28 Nosler in the pro model myself, was reading a post on a different site of a guy with the 28 shooting at steel to 1500yrds and is very happy with it.

Not going to talk you out of the X-Bolt. I have a 300wsm western hunter and love. I replaced the factory trigger spring with a MCARBO spring. Best $18 I've ever spent on a rifle.

I’ve been really impressed with the xbolts I’ve seen. If I were to buy a factory rifle they would be on my short list for sure.

I shot this group yesterday at 300 with my 30-06 x-bolt hunter. It's 2.6 inches wide center to center and 0.7 inches vertical. I had a slight wind from time to time left to right. 180 interbonds at 2760fps avg.

I love my browning hells canyon long range 300 win mag. I have the 1-8 twist. I love the gun. Probably too much. I shoot berger 210s with imr 7828ssc and Berger 215s with h1000. Groups consistently at .3 MOA at 200 yards when I do my part. These are from today with 2.4 mph wind. I will admit the triggers leave something to be desired but very useable. 4905425F-7B95-4EA5-BEDE-5524B40EDE15.jpegCD82507D-E4A0-4EFD-A66B-A50DF4DCD466.pngCD82507D-E4A0-4EFD-A66B-A50DF4DCD466.png

They are very popular where I live and hunt here in AK, I swear sometimes it seems like every other person I talk to has one. For awhile I wanted one in 375HH.
