Would this be any good tree stand hunting in southeast?
Temps 40&30's probably

I'd say so. The one time I wore the jacket the temps were in the low 30s and with insulating layers I was fine. It's not a cold weather setup but would do fine for me those temps. Very comfortable and pretty quiet as well.
