Camera Set-up

New to forum and wanted to pick y’all’s brain. I’m interested in filming hunts primarily to review shot placement with a bow. Shots are usually in the 10-30 yard range. Looking at go pro because we could use it for family activities as well as the kids grow up and begin hunting etc... It would be the newest version (12 I believe). Any input is much appreciated!
