No soap either. I prefer peanut oil for mine. I just wipe with a cloth, not water if needed. If really dirty then i fill with water and simmer/boil. Dry with heat and wipe down with oil.

The best part about new cast iron is the more bacon you fry in them the better. More bacon is never a bad thing.
