Have you had issues with the magazine not feeding rounds? These rifles look like a good choice but I watched a video online where the reviewer was consistently having feeding issues.

Cheers!
I've had no problems whatsoever. To be fair I've only ever fired the first round and loaded another, never racked through a whole mag. I do tend to load one round into the chamber first then put the full mag in.

Nice shooting! How does the blaser scope compare to the other euro brands? Not very easy to get your hands on one here in the states just to even look through. Think it is kind of odd to see a blaser scope not on a blaser. Curious as to why they chose that scope over say zeiss, myopia or any other brand.
Hi mate, the Blaser scope is brilliant and is easily on a par with the couple of Swarovski Z6i's that I have. This scope is part of a sponsorship package in relation to my work as a Deer Officer for the British Deer Society. The Blaser/Sauer/Minox/Mauser group are all linked in the UK.

Awesome! I will be over your way (covid willing) this fall. No CWD on the estates I'll be hunting, but I would like to find some. I'll also be doing my DSC1, so any tips on that let me know!
Hi mate, sorry, only just seen your reply. I'll message you over the next few days.

.22 Hornet, .221 Fireball, .222 Remington, would be perfect.
.22 hornet and .the triple deuce are popular over there. But I know alot of people who shoot the 6xc and other 6mm variants along with 5.6x50r. The .308 is very popular in Europe as well I know that's what u used when hunting roebuck in scottland as it's good for both roebuck and red deer. I know in Germany specifically they use the .308 over 6mm or smaller because your not aloud to shoot red deer with anything smaller then 6.5mm and alot of them shoot .300wm or 8x68 for Reed deer and boar.
I'm not sure the laws in the UK on magnum calibers though.

Deer officer? Is that a real full time job? Sounds like fun if it’s sustainable

I didn’t realize you could even hunt or own a gun in the UK.
Of course you can. You can even have a suppressor. As an Aussie it boggles my mind that somewhere with firearms laws like the UK allow suppressors but here in Australia they are strictly verboten! Go to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $100. New Zealand is the same- suppressor friendly.

Nice deer. the smaller species like water deer, muntjac and roe are intriguing.
