Cimarron light vs DCF

Is the 1lb saving with the Cimarron DCF worth it? I have the original version and it's quite heavy overall. Maybe i should consider another tent? I have a lead on the DCF version, just trying to decide if it's worth it. One concern i have is over the long term viability of dcf, compared to standard tent material. Will it last a long time? Let me know your thoughts.

Three weight savings is the big draw for me, I have the 2 door and it's pretty heavy

The single door version with the best in it is an awesome piece of gear. When you get it set up right it’s pretty killer. Great to have that much space.

As long as you don’t cringe and cuss when you get a spark hole the dcf is a nice upgrade for weight savings and no sag….plus it makes cool pictures….longevity unless you use it 300 days a year I think there will be no issues but only time will tell I will report back in a decade if still alive…..if budget minded stick to the lite version it is a nice setup and had zero complaints…
