Has anyone had issues with receiving their bears back from Newfoundland Canada? We harvested 2 bears back in October 2023 and have not yet received the hide, skulls or any of the meat. The outfitter “Conne River Outfitting” is stating it could take up to 2 years. Which we all know is BS.

The one bear I killed in NF I brought back with me (driving, not flying). No issues at all with the hide, skull, or meat.

I hunted with Conne River back in 2016 if I remember right. Hunted hard the entire trip, sun up to sun down, saw one cow about 500 yards away on the second day, never saw another moose except from the float plane when I was flying out. I think they've changed ownership since then thought (it was run by natives back then).

The bear I brought back was through another outfitter, not Conne River.
