Found this out a little by accident but it's proven to be pretty awesome. You can find tons of sizes of cooling racks for baking on Amazon. I bought a few for cooking, but at some point realized they fit perfectly in the bottom of my Rtic 65. Very useful for when I wet aged my deer last year, kept the bottom layer of meat from sitting in any water.

I did 6 days on the ice after a few in a tree on the mountain, so probably 9 days total from death to freezer. Once in the cooler at home in my apartment I drained twice a day and rearranged/re-iced every other day. Every cut has been mild in flavor and texture, best venison I've ever had.

Also great if you're just keeping food in your cooler for a weekend trip. I can fit about a dozen of those Sparkling Ice bottles frozen below the racks and don't need to buy ice for a 2-3 day trip. 12" wide seems to be the sweet spot on this cooler, here are the two racks in the photos.

Oh, and the top section of a Seek Outside carbon fiber tent pole works great on these coolers as a lid prop!

Thanks. I was looking for a cheap effective solution like this. Just hadn’t found anything that was the perfect size like these.
