Spent a week there with two friends. Accommodations were excellent, food was fantastic. Our guides were very very knowledgeable and helpful. Now for the important stuff, I caught close to 100 walleye a day averaging 20" with at least 100 between 25-28". Jigged for all of them, no trolling. Pike fishing was also fantastic, caught close to 100 with 7 being between 40 and 44". We chased one for an hour that was pushing 50", trolled a little but mainly casting spoons. Even caught a few grayling and whitefish. The shear volume of fish and the average size was like nothing I've ever seen in my life. I have caught over 100 crappie in an hour, but never that number of walleye. I did catch two in an hour, one time. Monster pike.

Dang! Congrats on a great trip. My favourite fish is pike and walleye. Just got back from a trip on fort peck and caught around 30 fish throughout the day. I thought that was a fantastic day.

I've fished in Quebec for a few years and was happy catching 20-30/day with the occasional pike. One of the guys I went with found out about the lodge watching Babe winkleman and decided to book. This was his 6th trip up and I thought he was exaggerating, he wasn't .

Post up some more pics if you can. I'm taking the fam back to Fort Peck in September. Hoping to bring home a bunch of pike for fish tacos.
