I have a custom blueprinted Tikka action (long bolt stop and mag, standard boot face) and bedded walnut stock for sale.
The "blueprinted" the action: gunsmith took about 1/16" off front of receiver to square it and match the action bevels to the barrel tenon contour, squared the bolt face, and lapped the bolt lugs. I believe he said he squared the threads too, but they looked the same after as they did before with the exception of being cut slightly deeper to the rear in the action closer to the front action screw. He also "polished" the bolt body. It seems less polished than the factory finish because you can see the finish lines in the picture. It's still very smooth, but it catches slightly more than the factory finish when putting lateral pressure on the bolt when cycling it. You probably wouldn't notice unless you really pay close attention. There's a couple of small nicks in the ejection cutout. This action will no longer accept a factory barrel or shouldered prefit but a barrel nut prefit can be used.
The trigger guard: it's an atlasworx that I shaped and smoothed and had cerakoted to match the action (if you've handled an atlasworx trigger guard you know those edges suck). Well now the trigger guard is very nice! I really like it but I'm not a fan of the angular back corner so I'll sell it if you want it.
The other parts: shroud, handle, bolt stop, safety and mag are all stock. They've been cerakoted the same as the trigger guard but the bolt handle was bead blasted. I would like to keep these. I have replacements for these parts that aren't coated that I'll put into the action if you buy it. But if you want them, I'll add them to the sale and it will cost more.
The stock is a factory Tikka walnut stock that I pillar and glass bedded. There was a tiny air bubble behind the front action screw that you can see. Otherwise, the bedding is great. There was a tiny bit of wood tear out near the magazine inlet from drilling the pillar holes, but very minor and epoxyd in place. The barrel channel was opened to accept a mullerworks #3 contour. It still looks good with a factory barrel in there. The only marks on the wood are shown. It's in great shape and has some nice character to it. The factory butt pad and rear sling swivel are included, just not attached.
The factory stock barrel channel is opened to accept the mullerworks #3 contour and in good shape. The factory recoil pad is included.
The barrel, scope, rings, sims recoil pad, and sling are not for sale.
For the action, the coated parts and atlasworx guard, synthetic stock and Walnut stock it would be a total of $1000 shipped to your FFL.
The the action, the two stocks, and the factory uncoated parts and trigger guard, it would be $850.
The action with uncoated parts and factory trigger guard is $600
The action with coated parts and atlasworx guard is $700
