Any of you ever build your own chassis? Thinking of building one for a Tc omega muzzleloader. Does not look overly complicated

I'm glad you got it back on track! I've been there with a machining project before where you suddenly realize your stock is shorter than needed... it's rough.Project omega chassis is dead in the water fellas. Think I ran out of material at the back end and can’t fit a buffer tube. I might could go to a pic mount…but more importantly if I try to stick an AR style grip on it, the distance from the grip to the trigger is so far you’d have to have NBA player hands. I’m not sure if I could get a vertical one to fit better.
It was in the metal pile luckily…It’s also my first machining project. Usually I just run the plasma table when I work with my dad and help him but I’ve ran point on a lot of this and learned a ton. That’s a great project. I was surprised at first to see a solid chunk of aluminum - that’s a lot of hand cranking on the milling machine. Not many guys can hunt with their own chassis! Very cool

I was going to originally but went a bit deep on the inside and only have around .25 left on the bottom. Just going to bolt a plate to it.Do you have enough material to have integrated arca and pic on the front or you going a different direction? Thats a lot of material to hog out by hand! Looks great.
Its been great fun!I’ve been wanting to try a chassis for a while now - great work!
