Rings have been lapped. DNZ states that you do not need to lap them, but you can see by the photos that they are wrong. I didn’t even finish the job before I called it good enough. There’s still some material left to lap if you want some exercise...
You will need a couple replacement screws as I lost one of the ring screws and stripped two of the base screws.
