First Deer With My Longbow

Got a doe this morning after my third hunt with my longbow. Shot was about 15 yards, hit her where I wanted, as she was slightly quartered towards me, so the exit wound was back and low. She made it about 80 yards and was done. Pretty awesome experience overall, decided to go traditional back in January and worked hard to get consistent with the bow, felt great to make it happen.

Edit: Just wanted to add, I look stoned/tired because I have a one month old daughter, and last night was rough.

Awesome! I feel you on the lack of sleep via new baby! The nights get rough at times. And the days in the field, although thats where you want to be, get rushed a bit so you can make it home to see your new buddy! Very cool accomplishment with the trad equip!!
