How does the Simms fit over layers? Is it true to size do you think?

Its cut on the slightly larger side for layering through the chest but it tapers at the waist to where its not baggy. Its a comfortable jacket overall.
I probably couldn't fit a big down puffy under it comfortably but a lighter jacket or sweatshirt and baselayer wouldn't be a problem underneath. YMMV
