It's as trash as you make it. Most information you get online is pretty dismal, but I've found in getting out there, it isn't half bad at all.

Beautiful state. Too bad greater Seattle controls everything.

I lived in Darrington for about four months in late ‘99, early 2000. Nice little hillbilly hick town at the time.

I was working for a tree company doing residential arborist work (called “tree surgery” once upon a time) along with some private land logging in the areas between Everett and Arlington.

Love those North Cascades, but I can’t live in Washington for other reasons.

Gun laws, crime, taxes, cost of living, a lot of the people (Pierce to Skagit county) suck. But yeah like anything it could always be worse!
