FNG from Wyoming

New guy checking in. Currently live in Wyoming (S.E.), however I'm a native Texan. Joined the site to read reviews on backcountry gear, as that's where I want to spend my time hunting, out of a backpack away from all the WYO road hunters. My first season elk hunting was a real eye opener and I think I have a better plan for next year which will include bow season.

I also enjoy bird hunting behind my American Brittany's (well one can hunt, the other is real numbnut).

Im looking to soak up as much info as possible.

Welcome, there are quite a few Roksliders from SE Wyoming and northern Colorado. I live in Laramie.
