I don’t have a 260 Remington rifle anymore but I do have quite a bit of empty 260 brass. I figured I’d just use it in my 7-08. From what I can find after a search is just lubing the inside of the necks, run through my 7-08 full length die and trim as needed.

Anything else need to be done?

I use Redding dry lube on the inside of the necks if it is new brass, but if it already has carbon on it, it may not be necessary since its not that big of a jump. I will also lube the outside of the case just to make it as easy as possible. Make sure that your shoulder/neck junction gets pushed back enough to chamber. For the 7mm-08, chamber should be 1.729" - 1.759", and the 260 Rem. cartridge is 1.7755".

Thanks a lot for the info. I just wanted to make sure it was as easy as it sounded
