I ran out of poll responses.

If I missed something please reply with your choice.

Is there a discernible difference in terminal performance between the 130 otm / 135 classic hunter and the 140 hybrid target / 140 elite hunter?

We’ve only used 140 grain Berger vld hunting and 156 grain Berger eol. Both have worked flawlessly

I have been trying to decide on this as well. Think it may make some difference which 6.5 cartridge you plan to fire the bullets from. I have been looking hard at the 130gr terminal ascent to use in both 6.5 PRC and Creedmoor. Seems to be a good compromise between a cup and core bullet and a mono metal.

Out of what you have listed, 143 eldx. I have been shooting the 130 TMK lately and it has showed good results on whitetails. I have not shot an elk with it yet but I think there is enough evidence on this sight already to prove it works.

I have used the 139gr Scenar on 4 elk and the 143 eldx on 1 elk. All died very quickly.

Have you reviewed the 6.5 kill thread?

I used a 140 VLD on a bull. It worked. Used the 139 Scenar on a Muley. It worked too. Will probably try a 143 ELD-X next.

I would like to know how a 140 Partition performs.

We love the 127 Barnes LRX so far! At 2755fps from 100+ year old Swedish Mausers out to 385 yards the elk drop at one shot.

I have had a lot of luck with the Nosler 130 Accubond, but I know there are a lot of other good options as well. I do like that the Accubond is fairly fragile at the front, fragmentIng and leaving very large wound channels. I do trust it a lot. Last elk took 3 steps and nose planted.
