Hoodlum Gen 2 Issue

I just got back from my first trip with the Hoodlum Gen 2 bag on the duplex lite frame. Ive had lots of different Kifaru bags. I’ve never had this issue with the gen 1 hoodlum or any other bag for that matter.

The sleeve on the bag would pop off the top of the frame leaving the bag only attached via the load lifter buckles. This would happen with the bag loaded or unloaded and got very frustrating. While putting the bag on, I would start walking and notice something felt wrong. I would have to take the pack off, pry the sleeve back over the frame and put the bag back on, this happened 10-12 times.

Has anybody else had this issue with the gen 2 hoodlum?

This isnt a great fix, but you could run a strap from the side loops on the frame up through the loop on the top of the shrowd to pull it down at the center. if it was buckles it would be fairly quick to install and remove.

This is vaguely what i mean. This is a strap through the top loop to keep the meat shelf flat when using my 22 mag as a frameless duffle backpack. Might work to keep the shroud from pulling off.

You should be able to use the load shelf straps connected to the frame to cinch it down hard to where there is no slack in the pack sleeve to frame connection. I’m on a hunt and my brother has my new Hoodlum but when I get home I will take pics of what I mean and post them here.

I moved the buckles to all three positions with no change unfortunately.
