How high in November

I'm planning on a weekend moose hunt November 17 in an area I know holds some good bulls that time of year at about 6500' average of 2 feet of snow then. The area also holds good bucks but ive never hunted them there at that time and I'm bringing my daughter because she wants to shoot a mulie do you think their still gonna be up there or should I shoot my moose and drop a couple thousand feet?
