Since forests closed, and just bought some new-to-me ZEISS Conquest 10x42's, decided to take another trip to nearby Bolsa Chica Wetlands and check 'em out!
Told myself that I'd try to grid thru the entire marsh just to see what I could see, and help me keep in practice for glassing.
What a fun surprise to glass up some yotes at about maybe... 125yds.
At first just 1. Who'd apparently woke up from a nap and decided to change locations to grab more of the warmth of sundown before it's gone.
Then I sat and waited for her to get back up. Was a bit of a wait, but then, Oh!... Hey!... a little off to another side... her man wakes up! He stretches a bit, then walks a little past her... then he settles down and they both disappear into the low brush by the ground.
Oh... but then a treat! An ambulance starts to make its way... wailing by with it's siren... on PCH! And these two get testy... and begin to howl back!
Mind you, I'm just holding up my phone to the binos by hand...
