I have used the Nikon stabilized rangefinder for about 8 years now and it’s great for ranging one-handed while bowhunting and the adrenaline is pumping. This Nikon has all the features I need but I’m worried I’ll be SOL when it finally gives out.

Why aren’t other companies adopting this? Like Sig with their stabilized binos I’d think it would be an easy transition. What am I missing?

I have the kilo4k that has stabilization. The degree of stabilization isn’t as high as the Zulu6s but I agree it is a nice feature.

I listened to a podcast and sig was asked about when they would have image stabilized rangefinder binos and they basically said it’s a whole different animal stabilizing the glass and the laser in a way that the laser hits where it’s pointed. They said that’s why the stabilization isn’t as intense on the 4k. Maybe that’s why other companies aren’t hopping on it.
