Inspire Sleep Apnea Implant and Shooting?

Has anyone had the Inspire sleep apnea implant surgery? I am scheduled for surgery but am concerned about being able to shoot heavy recoiling rifles comfortably as the implant is typically placed high in the right chest/shoulder area (I shoot right handed) and I am concerned with contact with the butt of the gun. I am going to talk with the surgeons office Monday about this but am just wondering if anyone has any background here?

I am in the same situation. Did you go through with the implant, and if so, are you still able to shoot a rifle?

Curious about if the implant works, didn't even think about issues with shooting.

Ask if they can move it more midline or to the left side. I know they ask people around here if they hunt and will move the placement based on that for PICC lines.
