This is the standard length (extendable). Slight tool marks on one leg. Does NOT interfere with operation or integrity. (thumb pic).
The case and all mounts are new. I have the gunsmith socket on my rifles, so these attachments were never used. Will fit on virtually any rifle with a swivel sling stud. More mounts available separately (Mlok, picatinny, etc)
I run the tripod head as well and these things are pretty amazing.
