Sold Kevin Weaver Sako 3006 custom

Selling a Kevin Weaver custom 3006 barreled Sako L61R in a McMillan stock. Approx 13.5 lop with a 25” barrel. Best groups were with 168 Berger’s with 3 going into 3/4” and 5 shots just under an inch with H4350. Very nice condition with a mint bore.

How does this compare to the A7 Series? Nice looking rifle.

As I recall the a7 was a budget line for sako that was supposed to be a step above the tikka with a detachable mag. No comparison really here. Completely different action and stock design and no detachable mag.

What barrel?

It was barreled by Kevin Weaver but no idea what brand barrel he used... I think he uses whatever the customer specifies. When I asked him about this particular rifle he had lost some of his older records or something somehow so I don’t have a build sheet for it.
