Kifaru and cuben fiber?

Does anybody know if Kifaru has any plans on experimenting with cuben fiber for any of their shelters? Patrick, Aron, any ideas?

I saw it mentioned on this board that there were tests with a lighter material for the tarps...Cuben was my first guess, but it for all its lightweightness, it is LOUD. I have considered using my Mega as a model and playing with cuben, but due to the cost of the cuben, I would likely try tyvek first to work out any kinks....

I am trying to hold out on purchasing a shelter so I can evaluate Kifaru's new stuff, but it is getting hard!

The experimenting has already been done (a years worth anyway), and we probably will not be going down the Cubin Fiber road for a while.
