Kifaru Duplex Ulta Lite frame Question

I have the new 26" ultra lite frame with composite stays. Nice frame. I shoot a longbow and find it stiff while shooting. I don't pack a lot of weight anymore and was wondering if anyone has tried carbon arrows in this frame. It worked great on my hunter duplex. I'm wanting to take out some of the stiffness for day hunting and was wanting some input.
I use the composite stays for backpacking and meat hauling and works great. Thoughts?
Thanks
Jeff

Hey Jeff,

I tried carbon stays in my 24-in duplex light frame. According to my scale (which is not state of the art) it saves 5.8 ounces comparison to the composite stays. It does seem to give the frame and little more flexibility but It wasn't nearly as comfortable when testing it with weight as the curved stays fit me much better. Pry worth trying as it's a really easy swap.
