Kifaru Hoodlum with Exo K4 lid

I've been kicking this idea around for awhile and hadn't found much info on it. Bought an Exo K4 lid last month and just got around to attaching it. I really love how it caps off my Hoodlum. Here's some pics for anyone who is interested. I cut off the exo buckles and used K clips to attach the frame side and split female buckles for the lid straps.

That looks similar (accept color) to an extra lid I had from my DT1 pack that I attached to my Hoodlum briefly. Now I either run my Guide Lid or run it naked depending on the weather and or if im packing in or doing truck camp.

I did the same thing last spring. I always preferred the lid on my K3 to the Kifaru lids, so I bought a K4 lid when they released and ran it on my hoodlum for a few longer trips. Worked really well.
