Been wanting a Stryker since they came out. Saw a couple other DIY Strykers on the forum and that got my wheel spinning. I knew I wanted a bag/load compartment similar to the Stryker but with a few different features. First, I added stretch Nalgene/Tripod pockets to each side. Next, I added a large stretch pocket to the front of the bag, similar to what you’ll see in ultralight hiking bags. The bag is still a work in progress. I need to construct the load shelf, bar tack all critical areas, and bind all the inner seams. Hope you guys like it!6EC29AD3-80EE-4FC1-991C-9BE5439C64F2.jpeg
Rear part of the bag. Spot for a hydration bladder and a chamber pocket.

Great job man! I love all the camo components but everytime i go to order it for a build i cheap out and just do CB. I like those stuff pockets a lot. I went back and forth on putting them on mine. I bet you get a lot of use out of the big one on the back.

What exact material did you use for the stuff pockets?

No clue, got it from work awhile back. 4-way stretch Multicam. I’d check Rockywoods if you are looking for some. They usually have a good selection of Multicam material!

Got around to finishing the bag yesterday. Hit a big road block last night when I broke the tab off one of the zipper sliders.... Had to unstitch and redo the zipper/stitching. Oh well, that’s how it goes. Happy with how the bag turned out. Can’t wait to use it this fall!D5455047-A783-4519-B1BC-6BAC46CC6800.jpeg
Stretch pockets hold a nalgene and tripod nicely!

Have my Kuiu stalker up against the frame as a final approach bag. Should work nicely there.

Chamber pocket inside. Might design a bigger ultralight organizer pouch similar to Stone Glaciers in the future.

That's great work! Did you make the main bag a little larger? That's my only complaint with the stryker, wish it was a out 2000 cui

Yup, not sure on the exact amount but it is definitely larger.

So I did the same thing with my water bladder on the last pack (mounted on the frame) but didn’t realize it’s still a pain in the butt to get to if the bag isn’t quickly detachable. Next bag I’ll add the clips in like you have.

Do you mind if I ask what type of sewing machine was used to create this pack? It really looks incredible man, I'm impressed with the level of workmanship!

Thanks a lot man. I primarily used a Consew 206 walking foot machine. I also had access to a bar tacker for high stress areas. Quite a bit of work but a fun project for sure
