Kimber and less than stellar customer service

Well, I'm not impressed with Kimber's customer service. I emailed them 7 days ag about my Montana, which has light strikes causing failure to fire on occasion with a variety of ammunition. They never replied, so I called them today.

Initially I just asked to buy a new firing pin spring and they quoted me $13.45 shipped, which is reasonable. However, once they found out I live in Alaska they said it would be an additional $25 for shipping.

At that point I asked about if they would cover the shipping as it was having light strikes on the factory spring. They said no.

That spring can be put in a padded envelope and shipped to me USPS for less than 5 dollars. Probably for less than $2.
