Leica Trinovid 10x42 Value?

My wife and I have both upgraded our optics to 12x50, and one of our close friends wants to buy our old but still in super shape Leica trinovid 10x42. I'm trying to figure out what a fair value for these would be. I checked on ebay, looks like prices vary a lot, from 600-1000. Our binoculars are fairly old, from 2007, but have seen light use and are in excellent shape with no issues and clean glass front and rear. What you you think would be a fair price to put on them for our friend? She will take whatever price I put on them but I want to be on market. Thanks.
