Up for sale is a micro spotting set up, great for the truck or bag. Leupold is in great shape, glass is clean, focus ring moves smoothly, includes thread on scope cover. There are a few nicks from field use but no major dents or other damage. Siruis tripod head has a suprisingly nice action and is very easy to track with, legs all lock and slide easily. The brass ball mount retaining pin broke off but the plate/tension clamp all work fine. There are also field marks but no dents or other damage of note. Bag was custom made by atmosphere mountain works out of padded soft shell high denier material and has compression straps and a padded divider. Whole set up weighs 3# 15oz and is about the size of a 1.5 L Nalgene. Call it 320 TYD.

Does this scope provide enough magnification/clarity to see .22 holes in paper at 100 yards? How far out could you count mule deer points with it in decent light? I'm looking for something compact to augment my 8x32 binoculars but want to make sure I get enough capability. Thanks!

The cool part about a fixed power scope is they are about as bright as they come. Most of where I hunt is pretty broken woth max spotting ranges at about 1200ish yards. I have no trouble using this on elk and mule deer at that range. I’ve also used this for most of my sighting in at the range and feel it is perfectly capable for rimfire and centerfire at those ranges.
