Rifle without the scope/mount weighs just under 7lbs and balances like a dream. With the scope/mount it weighs 8lbs 6oz.

A little bit of both. It came as a SAAMI spec prefit 7SAUM from Carbon six and I had my local smith throat it for the longer 175gr bullets.
