I played with some sample, 3" Goat Tuff vanes...They fletch up really easy, I was impressed with them except for the price, they are kinda on the high dollar side. I can buy a whole lot of AAE 2.6's for the price of 36 of the Goat Tuff vanes.

429 grain FMJ @ 70#, kicking out 278 fps.

First pin dead nuts at 25 yards, 2nd at 40, then every ten to 90. Wire and bubble meet at 104 yards. Fletched with 2" Blazers shooting Slick Trick Mag's, 100 grain Thunderheads, or any mechanical they shoot sweet if I do my job. Bow tuning makes a huge dfference in arrow flight.

I shoot magnus buzzcuts out to 70 yards in 3 inch groups with blazers. I can tune my bow very well though. Not discounting the other vanes, I use blazers because thats what came on my arrows when I bought them! When I refletch them I might try a little longer vane.

Low profile 3" Fusion vane for me. I switched from 2" Blazers and I am glad I did. I am seeing a lot better downrange performance with the new vanes.
