I have swaro 10x42el. These are pretty much lifetime binos. I wouldnt recommend getting the range version as technology improves in ranging and you could find yourself with outdated electonics. plus they are heavier and more bulky. just a thought. I have a little 7x leica ranger that accompanies me. can also use it as a spotter cause the glass is nice.
