Looking for a ruger m77 wood short action stock. Doesn’t have to be pristine, but in decent shape would be nice.

Looking for wood, for a mk2 inlet (Hawkeye would work too).

I’m keeping Boyd’s in my back pocket as a last resort but don’t want to go there just yet. I’ve gotten my wife into shooting finally, and picked up a m77 in 22lr, 223, and 243. The 243 has a broken stock. I’m trying to build all 3 identically so that when she picks up one, it feels the same as the .22 she’s been practicing with. So going the Boyd’s route isn’t ideal from that standpoint, although it’s a good backup if there’s no actual m77 stocks to be found.

My Uncle left me a Ruger M77 with a tang safety. It had a badly cracked stock when I picked it up from the ffl. I searched all over for a replacement and only found beat up overpriced ones on eBay or $500 composite stocks. I ended up getting the base model Boyd’s. It was about $160 delivered. Made some very minor fitting adjustments and it went together nicely I haven’t shot it yet but it looks good.

I appreciate the input! I picked up a stock last night that looks like it should suit my needs, but the Boyd’s were my backup if I couldn’t find a standard

Where did you find a stock? Was the price reasonable?
A couple folks replied to my WTB ad (I had a few up on various sites) and I purchased one of them. Price was very reasonable. All of the stocks offered were slightly modified in some way, but that was fine by me
