How strong are the magnets? I hunt a lot out of a boat and am always bending over the gunwales getting in and out of tenders etc. My current stone glacier pack has the bungees and Ive felt the binos slide and hit the lid when bending over. The bungees obviously are able to hold the lid closed.

Are the magnets on the marsupial strong enough to hold the lid shut when bending over and binos put some pressure on it?

Thanks!

Mine are strong enough that wouldn't happen, in fact I can't think of an instance where that's ever come close to happening to me. You probably have to practically be upside down for there to be real pressure on the lid from the inside out. And EVEN if that happened, the little buckle straps would at least keep the binos from detaching and leaving

I’ve had both harnesses , the not enclosed and the enclosed. I have never had that happen . Running vortex razor 10 by 42s

I have 3 years on them & the RF pouch. Even when left in the open position while hunting, nothing slides out.
