Meopta Optika LR no longer ranges.

Today Optika LR 10x42’s decided that they won’t range anymore. New battery, cleaned the lenses, no joy. If they’re not being actively used, they’re in my harness hanging up in the house. They’ve been used but extremely well taken care of since I got them in 2021. Not sure what the expectation is with CS or warranty department but it seems like they’re less than a year out of warranty and I don’t recall signing up for the extended warranty (hindsight should’ve, womp womp). Either way I’m getting them being repaired and then selling to upgrade.

I’m just starting to get into long range and would like to have a set up that I can use for field shooting, whatever game I might dabble with, and hunting. I have binos covered - Swaro EL 10x42’s. I would like to get a RF with Applied Ballistics but unsure which direction I want to go - standalone unit or something like the leica geovid’s. A kestrel is on the short list of gear so I’m pretty set on the AB software. What’re your recommendations?

You should take a look at the Revic Rangefinder offerings. I think you'll find their standalone and 10x42 to be excellent

I’ve definitely heard good things about their RF binocular. I would have to do a comparison between devices software and AB.
