Here's a simple meal I've put together:
2 oz. Instant Refried Beans (I puchased a pack of six on Amazon because these are hard to find in a store.
1.2 oz Instant Brown Rice
1.2 oz Angel Hair pasta broken up
1 tsp. Taco seasoning

Vacuum pack the ingredients.

Boil 2 cups water, add the ingredients, return to a boil while stirring gently. Turn off heat, add cheese of your choice, let stand ten minutes. Add Fritos, corn chips, or torn up tortilla.20220620_160521.jpg20220620_160731.jpg20220620_160800.jpg20220620_161213.jpg20220620_161630.jpg

Sounds good but I want some meat in there too. Freeze dried chicken would work but beef would be better.

Agreed, that would be good. I was just working with what I had readily on hand. I figure I can add quite a few calories via cheese and Fritos.

Looks good! I've made something similar before but used instant white rice instead of brown and mix in a tablespoon of cheddar cheese powder and a tablespoon of dehydrated green chiles. Then I put Fritos in a separate Ziploc sandwhich bag and ad them last.

Meal- has meat
Side dish- contains no meat

Would be good with some beef or chicken added though.

Add a bit of backstrap and there's a great meal. Thanks for the recipe.
