We have a few of these MGPTS (modular General purpose tent system) Type 1 (center Y pole) army tents we are looking to sell. Already applied the rokslide discount price vs the Facebook price.
Small Tent (18x18') - consist of 2 end fabric sections and a end pole bag that includes poles stakes and ropes.
Medium Tent (18x36') - consist of 2 end fabric sections, 1 mid fabric section, an end pole bag that includes poles stakes and ropes., and a mid pole bag that includes stakes and ropes. A medium tent can be set up as a small if you omit the mid sections.
Large Tent (18x54') - consist of 2 end fabric sections, 2 mid fabric sections, an end pole bag that includes poles stakes and ropes, and 2 mid pole bag that includes stakes and ropes. A large tent can be set up as a medium or small if you omit mid sections.
Each bag, regardless if it is a fabric section or a pole bag is somewhere between 120 and 150 pounds. A Small has 3 of these bags, a medium has 5, and a large has 7. The fabric sections will fit in a regular truck bed, but the poles would probably need a long box to lay flat.
Pictures are of the tent we currently use, not the actual tents for sale. We have a large and have taken the full large to Montana twice as well as multiple hunts here in Michigan. Our New Mexico Elk hunt we only had 5 guys and just used it in the small set up.
