Looking for information on a good quality raft that can take a 30-40 hp outboard. I plan on using it on rivers in Alaska when I retire.
I need something I can roll up and store in a small storage unit, something I can put on a bush plane. Ideally one with a jet tunnel but I understand those are super hard to come by now. So I'll settle for a short shaft prop. My main concern is type of fabric to get. With all the manufacturers out there and all the materials they use I'm looking for advice on what material would be best for rivers. I don't intend on going to the crazy places, just something to handle some of the rivers around bethel and the Yukon. Primarilary will be used for fishing and maybe caribou. I'm getting too old to pack out moose. For those of you that hunt and fish AK and have experience with inflatables what do you recommend?
