MR frame and straps

Recently bought a new MR bear tooth pack in size large. Seems almost like the straps are too short and digs into the side of my peck (chubby peck). Would using to an XL help that or would it only have an effect on the frame? According to size charts and body measurements I'm still a large on spine length. Thanks

How tight is the strap connecting the 2 shoulder straps? Id loosen it and make sure the belt is carrying the majority of the weight. I went back to MR after Kifaru because of a more comfortable fit. YMMV

You mean the strap that goes across my chest? Just snug enough to bring the straps in.
