Sorry must've missed the responses on this post. PM me what you have but I would ideally move away from tent poles and go with a trekking pole set up. Looking for a mesh liner + tarp style set up.

That is a good question. In a perfect world the shelter I use would take up less space than the MSR I have now. The weight it only 3.3lbs so that isnt bad for the quality of the shelter but I just don't like how much space it occupies. I think something like the MSR thru hiker mesh house 2p and a tarp should be sufficient.
