Ok folks, I have a logistical conundrum. I have a 7 day hunt in Idaho for elk and bear the last week of September and I drew a mule deer and antelope tag for Wyoming which begins Oct. 1. I will be solo for the trip and there are no meat cutters near my hunt in ID and since I live alone and will be gone for 3 weeks, shipping meat home to no-one waiting really isn't an option. I have thought about taking a trailer with a freezer and generator but I live in WI and that's a long way to pull that much extra gear. It may be my only option but I wanted to get some opinions/ideas from the rest of you. Anyone have an alternative to keeping the elk and bear in good shape while I hunt in WY? I thought about hauling it to WY and paying for locker space until I leave but I'm not sure how they feel about out of state critters, I have some calls to make I guess. Thanks for any ideas you hatch.
