Muzzle brake slant/angled port hybrid

I understand the slant style brake was originally designed for muzzle climb in full auto rifles, but why isn’t it incorporated more into angled port designed brakes? With muzzle jump reduction being so important for being able to spot impacts, why isn’t the slant used more? Ugly? Doesn’t actually work?
