Need help identifying 6 x 24 x 50 AO scope

I got this scope from a friend who died. It has no brand identifying marks on it at all. Can anyone identify this scope brand from the attached pictures?

I have owned quite a few scopes that look like that one from my younger days. Based on its looks and lack of brand identity anywhere on the scope and the "AO" printed on the objective which stands for Adjustable Objective, I would think pretty strongly that this is a very cheap, $150 or less no name riflescope on par with BSA, Tasco, ect.
