New guy from Arkansas- wants to start backpack hunting

Hey guys,
Joined the site trying to get a feel for hunting out west. Will try to get out and hunt some antelope in the next year or so. Trying to assemble gear and modify my whitetail hunting to learn a new variant.

Also looking for a Kifaru lite frame. Got a Stryker bag for my first backpack. Looking forward to learning from you folks.

Thank you, sir. We have a lot of very typical bucks in my corner of SW MO where I hunt whitetails. This guy popped out and I was shocked. And then I put one straight in his chest (worried I couldn’t wait on a broadside) and the joker ran 150 yards with a blown lung.

Can’t wait for the mount to come back.
