Hello,
I've begun load development with my new to me Noslser M21 in 30 Nolser. I'm curious to see what others have discovered.

So far I spent most of my efforts with the 200gr eldx's and H1000. I feel there's a magic recipe that should work with this combo. The goal is 3 shot groups approaching 0.5".

I've been able to achieve approx. 0.9" and have generally found groups have tighten with increase in powder (above book max). I did the berger seating depth latter test and it was relatively inconclusive leading me to believe this bullet may not be finicky.

Next step for me will be to test a few more with small charge increases because I haven't experienced any pressure signs yet.

Thanks for any info.

For those who find this post… I gave up on the 200gr eldx, but I found success with H1000 with the 190gr ablr and 190gr LRX. The nosler reloading manual was a great place to start. All sub MOA.

Curious as to what kinds of speed you are getting with the 30 Nosler. Seems like one of the best designed of the 300's available.

I agree on the design. I haven’t done a great deal of velocity testing yet, I’ve mostly been testing bullets and seating depth’s while using the recommended charges and powders from the nosler manual. The last load I tested with the 200gr eldx was at about 2950 fps with a 24”barrel and a medium-ish charge.

Those speeds are a good place to end up with a 300 and 200 gr bullets. The 190's you mention will be awesome too. Good luck going forward.
